Avocado chocolate chip cookies. You heard me. Avocado in your cookie! Trust me, it’s good! The avocado really doesn’t change the flavor and adds healthy fat and creaminess. The main ingredients are avocado, peanut butter, honey and protein powder…and of course chocolate chips.
Trust me! Give them a try! And let me know how you enjoy them!
Avocado Chocolate Chip Cookies
1 ripe avocado Mashed
1/2 cup nut butter of choice (runnier is better!)
1/4 cup honey (you can sub maple syrup)
1/2 cup protein powder (vanilla flavor is best. You can also sub ground up oatmeal if you don’t want protein powder or even try cocoa powder!)
1/4 cup chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/8 tsp sea salt (dash)
1. Mix all the ingredients together until smooth. You could use a food processor or blender to smooth out the avocado better. Then mix inthe chocolate chips at the end.
2. Form into cookies with your hands (I got about 5)
3. Bake at 350 for 12-18min (there is huge time range because it depends on what you sub in. If you use oatmeal, the cook time may be shorter. If you use protein powder, min took longer. Always start with the shorter amount of time and reset your timer for a few min at a time if your cookies look like they need more time.)
